Sinoma EC signed the general contracting contract of carbon WHR again

Recently, Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. and Chongqing Jinqi Carbon Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sunstone Development Co., Ltd., signed a general contracting contract for the calcined flue gas WHR project of carbon production line. This project has become Sinoma EC’s seventh general contracting project in the carbon waste heat industry.

The project, located in Qijiang District, Chongqing, is a 4.5MW WHR station to be equipped to the 160kta carbon production line. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to achieve an annual power generation of 30 million kWh, an annual saving of 95,000 tons of standard coal, and an annual reduction of carbon dioxide emissions of nearly 300,000 tons. The generated electricity will basically meet the electricity demand of the main production line, which will greatly reduce the production cost of carbon, and will have good economic and environmental benefits.

The project will further promote the construction of a circular economy and more effectively address regional environmental challenges such as air pollution.
