Sinoma EC Signing EMC Contract with Mongolia Xingguang Group

Recently Sinoma EC signed a contract with Etuoke Huayue Building Material Company of Mongolia Xingguang Coal Group (Yuehua) to undertake building WHR power plant for 4500t/d clinker line in a Energy Management Contract (EMC) mode.

In accordance with the contract, the EMC service provided by Sinoma EC include diagnosis on Yuehua’s energy consumption status, and carrying out design, financing, modification, construction& erection, commissioning, operation and management of the WHR project. In the validity of the contract, both parties share proceedings from energy saving; after contract expiry, the project will be transferred to Yuehua.

Mongolia Xingguang Coal Group, one of the 60 key companies in Mongolia, is a private enterprise with AAA reputation. With total asset of more than 400million RMB and 12 branch companies, it business covered many regions like Erdos, Wuhai, Baotou and Bayanzhuoer. Its business scope includes coal mining, steel, building material, chemical, power generation, real estate, financing and investment, warehousing and tourism development. The clinker production line of Yuehua Building Material company, as the cement business platform of Xingguang Group, was completed and commissioned in this August.

The WHR power plant, with installed capacity of 9MW, by using waste hot gas is capable of saving electricity 55million kW per year, saving standard coal 20000 ton per year, reducing CO2 emission by 50000 ton per year. It brings with very good economic, social and environmental benefits. This project is Sinoma EC’s second WHR project in Wuhai surrounding areas, which is going to become Sinoma EC’s important investment platform for its cluster development in this region.
