On March 11, The “National Engineering Lab on Solid Waste Disposal Technology and Equipment”participated by Nantong Wanda Boiler Co., Ltd.(Nantong Wanda for short), subsidiary of Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd., was established in ZhejiangUniversity, which isthe onlyengineering lab in the field of solid waste and hazardous waste burning disposal. Mr. Xuan Yanming, General Manager and Mr.Yuan Ke, Deputy General Manager & Chief Engineer of Nantong Wanda have attended the ceremony.
It is known as the first national engineering lab setup by NDRC in the field of environmental protection, which is set up by reputed enterprises in the field, such as NanTong Wanda, and with ZhejiangUniversity as the initiatorintending tosolve the problems of low stability and incomplete disposal of secondary pollutant during solid waste and hazardous waste burning in China, and to develop the R&D in the key technology, process and equipment, as well as to push forward the progress in technology and development in industry on the reduction, harmless and resourceful treatment of solid waste.
